This is a citizen-based program for reporting people seen littering (cigarette butts included!!) The cooperative program is between the Police Departments and Keep Faulkner County Beautiful.

The Tip Line Number is established for reports that should have as complete as possible the information on the forms. Callers remain anonymous, however, the information will be verified as much as possible to avoid harassment. Offenders are then sent a letter from the Police Chief to let them know that someone saw them littering. No prosecution is pursued. The letter is the only step of enforcement, but they will be reminded of the extent of the state litter laws. They will be encouraged to help stop future littering violations, because it is the responsibility of every member of the community to make sure that it remains litter free.
